The first appointment will be a free orthodontic evaluation.  This appointment is designed to assess the need for treatment.  If treatment is needed we will discuss with you which type of treatment is likely.  Once we have decided to start treatment we will need to take special measurements called records.

At this appointment we will take photographs, molds of your teeth (Impressions), a panoramic x-ray (Panorex) and a Cephalometric X-ray (Ceph).  Records are needed to help us properly diagnose of your case.    This procedure generally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to perform.

                     The Consultation Appointment

The next step after records is the consultation appointment. This is generally a question and answer session.  At this appointment you will be presented with a treatment plan.  The treatment plan will consist of the type of appliances or devices we plan to use to make the necessary corrections.  We will also discuss the anticipated treatment time, and the costs associated with this phase of treatment.

We will try to answer as many of your questions as possible.  In order for us to start your treatment a modest down payment is generally required.
